24.01.2022 A new way to get home from school! Just another student who is excited to show off her skills after being accepted to attend Hogwarts this Friday!

23.01.2022 We’ve had a busy week this week! As well as recognising our year 6 students, we also recognise two of our teachers for long service. Congratulations to Mrs Darragh and Mrs Houlden! We are very lucky to have you! *Apologies for the poor sound, as it was videoed on an iPad that was closer to the traffic than the talking!

21.01.2022 After a stressful term 4 of drought, fire and evacuations, we looked forward to 2020 as a fresh start. A new beginning. Our community had suffered losses and heartache. It wasn’t to be so. We started well, then after a couple of weeks, we were hit with an unexpected flood. This led to an emergency evacuation of the school half way through the day with the school remaining non operational for a number of days for the cleanup. This was closely followed by COVID-19. Students ha...ve now been taught from home for longer than they have been at school this year! We can’t express how much we are looking forward to the return of all students tomorrow. However, we would like to thank the parents, carers and community for the support and understanding through these unprecedented times. To the staff who have turned their lives upside down and continued to work harder than ever before to provide engaging and manageable programs which continually changed. We addressed issues of connectivity and support for families, all the while never knowing when new changes were going to be expected. We thank you. To the students, those who stayed home and to our ‘essentials’ who had to navigate a very different school and mode of learning. We understand the fear, anxiety and myriad of good and bad emotions you have been feeling. We thank you. We take this opportunity to share with you just a brief snapshot of what has taken place over the last couple of months. We have been blown away by what has been achieved, and we are proud of this little community. Fantastic work Leeville! 18.01.2022 As term 3 draws to a close, students had the opportunity to participate in 'interest groups' as the end of term Class Dojo rewards day. Groups were many and varied and we thank all the staff for their dedication and commitment in providing some great experiences for all. Happy Holidays!!

During these strange times, it has been difficult to find a way to continue to support the school, so the P&C have come up with this idea! Orders can be placed in person or online. 17.01.2022 It’s wonderful to have such an awesome little school, which makes it so worthwhile going the extra mile to create memories! What a blast having a sleepover, Italian restaurant, pamper party, movie creation, craft making, sneaky visit from Santa and laser tag in the rain! It was a great finish to a pretty weird year. Thanks to our amazing students and families!

16.01.2022 LEEVILLE PS WILL BE OPERATIONAL TODAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABLE TO GET THERE. We are uncertain yet as to how far buses are running. Please understand that if you choose to send your children to school it will be your responsibility to remain in phone contact at all times through the day as there is a possibility of students being sent home early if the rain increases. We understand there are still roads that are closed, however as the water has gone done at school, there will be staff available to supervise. Students will NOT have access to the playground as the conditions are still unsafe. If you know of anyone who does not have access to Facebook please contact them and let them know. Please use your local flood knowledge to determine whether it is safe for your child to get to school. If it’s flooded - forget it!

15.01.2022 As part of our two day, one night school sleepover, we hired a photobooth, and needless to say - it was a great hit with the students! We couldn't keep them out!

05.01.2022 Wonderful day at school to celebrate the completion of our Harry Potter unit of work. Witches and Wizards were everywhere, as they arrived at school with their acceptance letters and platform 9 3/4 tickets to go to Hogwarts. Ollivander wands, Hogsmeade sweets, potions and spell classes, as well as a game of Quidditch! Thanks to all the students (and parents!) for getting into the spirit of the day with amazing costumes and a sense of magical adventure! There will be many tired magical folk tonight!
