25.01.2022 Our last Pickleball session for the year is today from 10am-12pm. Come along and give this new sport a go! New players are always welcome! Pickleball will be taking a short break over Christmas and will be returning for the first session in 2021 on Monday 4 January. There will be a two week break due to our existing school holiday program then normal weekly sessions will return on Monday the 25 January. ... 24.01.2022 A quick snap shot of all of the battery operated and peddle cars we have on offer for the kids during our playgroup sessions! We have one of our basketball sized courts dedicated for all of our cars and bikes so there is plenty of room for the kids to have fun safely without running into each other!! The other basketball court is full with heaps of other equipment so there is plenty of things for the kids to play with! Playgroup is held every Monday and Thursday from 9:30am-11:30am and new families are always welcome.

23.01.2022 The last free pop-up market for the year is on tomorrow at Lefevre from 11am-1pm! We will be returning in 2021, Wednesday 6 January. Merry Christmas and have a safe new year’s everyone!

23.01.2022 While we are all in lock down we are bringing back our Facebook live stream fitness sessions for anyone to participate in. With everyone house bound and unable to exercise outside we are bringing the sessions for you to follow along to in the comfort of your own homes. Tania our fantastic Strength for Life trainer from Love 2b Active here at the stadium will be running you through your paces each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 11am-12pm with the first session 24 November.... All you need to do is jump over to our Facebook page at 11am on these days and join in. If you can't make it for the 11am starts, no stress the videos will be available to watch on our Facebook page at any time. Please remember that the fitness sessions are not structured to any one particular health or fitness level or age group so participation in these sessions is done so at your own risk.

23.01.2022 Kids Connect which is a partnership program we organise with Uniting SA every school holidays was held this afternoon at the stadium. The children were lucky to participate in Indigenous art work creations and also learnt the meaning behind Welcome to Country! Not only a session loaded with lots of fun & creative activities, but also a very important educational lesson as well. ... Huge thank you to Kathy Miller and her wonderful volunteers from Uniting SA for facilitating the session. Many thanks also to Tashara & Ingrid from the Connected Families program for their wonderful contribution towards planning the activities and helping to run the program today. Every school holidays the Kids Connect program runs an art & craft session as well as a sports themed session for kids aged 5-12 years old. Both sessions are always free so keep a look out for the term 1 session dates coming out soon!!

21.01.2022 The Kids Connect program is back!! A joint program run by the stadium and Uniting SA. We're running an arts and craft session and also a sports sessions during the January school holidays! The sports session is on Tuesday 12 January and the arts and craft session is on Tuesday 19 January. Both sessions are free! Registrations are needed for the arts and craft session so please register by calling us on 8405 6908. Spots are limited

21.01.2022 The Lights Community and Sports Stadium, Lefevre Community Stadium, Enfield Community Centre and Kilburn Community Centre will remain closed on Monday 23 Novemb...er 2020 while we await further advice from SAPOL and SA Health about the activities that are allowed to take place. The following services will re-open on Monday 23 November 2020: Library Services The Civic Centre Community Buses Community Services support in a staged manner Graffiti removal All Field Service staff will be back at work performing normal duties Public Toilets Golf facilities are will re-open Sunday for recreational golf. The continued health and safety of our community is important to us, so we want to be sure that we are correctly following the SA Government directives. We will update you as soon as more information becomes available.

21.01.2022 Another full house for Pickleball's first session back! Everyone is loving this great new game which is really easy to play. Soon we will be adding three more courts onto court 2, which will enable more people to participate helping our program grow even bigger in 2021!! 20.01.2022 One of the most popular programs here at our community stadium is our Strength for Life Program. The program targets people aged 50+ and aims to improve your strength and fitness levels through individualised fitness programs completed in a group environment. 20.01.2022 Our Strength for Life sessions and our Chair Based Fitness class returned this week. We have seven SFL sessions each week and our Chair Based Fitness class is held every Friday morning. 19.01.2022 It's been a busy day today at our stadium with over 80 children participating in our school holiday OSHC sports session. The kids have loads of sports to choose from including roller skating, tennis, table tennis, cricket, soccer and the ever popular jumpy castle!! In that time the basketball courts will be getting resurfaced so it will look brand new for your return! 14.01.2022 Who's ready for playgroup this morning??? Our playgroup runs every Monday and Thursday from 9:30am-11:30am of the school term and it's only $2 per session for ages 0-5! No need to register beforehand, you can just turn up on the day! We have a different themed craft activity each week and also a 'mini wiggles' concert so the kids can sing along to some of their favorite nursery rhymes. 05.01.2022 Introducing a new program to the stadium 'Pickleball' - It's a great new sport that mixes tennis, badminton and table tennis and is very easy to learn and lots of fun to play!! Sessions will be held every Monday from 12pm-2pm with the first 'come and try' session being held on November the 16th. To celebrate we will be running a sports and fitness themed sessions on both Monday and Thursday which will involve the kids participating in a variety of activities that involve climbing, balance, running and testing their hand eye coordination with a whole heap of different sports and activities to choose from! The sessions are full of fun and will have the kids participating in lots of different fitness exercises! ... 01.01.2022 The free Pop Up food market is held every Wednesday from 11:30am-1pm and also includes free cooking demonstrations and taste testing simple nutritious meals that you can take home. Here are a couple photos from last week with a little sneak peek also of our brand new community kitchen space which will be available to be hired out to the community in 2021! We are planning an opening day in early 2021 for the Community Kitchen so stay tuned for an announcement. We are all very excited to make this space available to the community!!
