24.01.2022 This dahlia was sold to me but it is not what they said it was. It was supposed to be Delbard Villandry but it really isn’t... I’m not sure what it’s real name is so I call it Not Villandry see what I did there... Regardless of the name of this gorgeous bloom it’s a cracker- a firecracker even! A mix of orange and yellow tones it’s a happy one! First blooms are a good 10-15cm diameter.

20.01.2022 So this is me! I have been growing dahlias in my home garden in the Limestone Coast for the last ten years or so. I now have a great collection of varieties and need an outlet for my tubers. Le Flor Dahlias will be selling tubers in Spring starting 2020.

13.01.2022 Jaqueline I have a book about colour... the book names the orange colour of this dahlia as Minium. They describe this colour as a colour used by Monks in the Gladzor Manuscripts a team of artists worked on these manuscripts with one member of the team whose sole responsibility was to add the capitals, headings and pilcrows in a particular shade of orange red so bright that they leapt off the page This dahlia draws so much attention in the patch with its flashy colouring and deep red marbling effects. It’s a keeper for sure!!!
