22.01.2022 A very late Octoberfest brew that I tapped today. Just a single keg left of a 2 year lagered dusseldorf altbier, 5.8% abv with a malty backbone. A tasty way to see out Alt-toberfest

18.01.2022 As the dust settles from the lockdown, our taproom opens up again this Sunday friends, from noon. We'll have a new small batch beer launch on tap and in cans - this is our Brett Smash farmhouse pale ale, a 5.5% abv, easy drinking ale, with just a hint of funk from the brettanomyces yeast used. Smash refers to single malt and single hop addition, but this brew is really all about the yeast and drinkability. In addition we also welcome back @jessicapatrickartist with her tapro...om art takeover. Check out a stack of new art on display right up till xmas, all of Jess' art is available for sale, as we continue to support local artists.

16.01.2022 Mashing in earlier this morning. Live brew day at the taproom, and I'm brewing up a saison today. If you need grand final takeaway beers before noon, feel free to drop in and also check out the brewing process. @jimmysherz has the day off today so I'll be behind the bar serving too.

07.01.2022 Friends, it's a similar story I'm posting here, as many other businesses have since Wednesday. Our taproom is closed in line with government requirements, as part of the circuit breaker. Rest assured the beer is safe, and we look forward to pouring you some tasty brews once regulations ease.... In the meantime please take care of yourselves and others. Cheers from Brad & the left barrel crew
