23.01.2022 Legacy Week Kicked off with a BANG from RAAF Edinburgh this year with members of the Australian Army 1st Armoured Regiment, 7th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment and Royal Australian Air Force No. 3 Security Force Squadron with our Legacy Bears. On 28 August 2020, families supported by Legacy were given the opportunity to see some of the latest Navy, Army and Air Force technology including the P-8A Poseidon aircraft, a protected mobility vehicle, an armoured personnel carr...ier, an Australian light armoured vehicle, and a Navy rigid-hulled inflatable boat. Legacy Week, from 29 August to 5 September, is the annual national appeal to raise awareness and funds for the families of incapacitated and deceased veterans, and a time for all Australians to show their support for those whose loved ones have served Australia. Robert Clyne from the Freemasons Foundation presented Catherine Heylen and Michael Nguyen with their awarded scholarships, which aims to assist with the financial costs associated with their university studies. 11.01.2022 Legacy was humbled to be invited to Henley High School Remembrance Day Service this morning alongside representatives from the Army, Navy and Navy Cadets. Legatee Dewar made a touching speech and placed a tribute with the wreaths laid by Principle Fabijan and ADF personnel. Following the service 3 of our Henley Grange beneficiaries were treated to a lovely morning tea put on by the staff and students. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary... them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. See more

02.01.2022 Legacy was proud to be present at the 105th Australasian Soldiers Dardanelles Cenotaph Commemoration Service held today. Represented by Legacy President Legatee Chris Burns, Youth Committee Chair Legatee Suzanne Moorhead and Legacy beneficiary Annie and her daughter Tiffany who recited the poem He is Gone. The service which was first held in 1915 remembers those who lost their lives during the Gallipoli campaign. #lestweforget
