13.01.2022 Had to share this feedback from a client from Last week, we coordinated the transportation of 3 mares (one heavy in foal) and 2 yearlings from a property that had just been sold to their new home that also sold and settled, both on the same day. One rescue mare was uncertain and not a confident horse who required patience and reassurance to load and The two youngsters hadnt ever been trucked or floated, and had only been handled briefly prior to be haltered so had little k...nowledge of leading and only very minimal handling. We spent some time working with the youngsters to get them leading and coming off pressure more confidently, and took our time teaching them to load to ensure they were not rushed, stressed,forced or panicked by the experience. They all travelled the 3 hours to their new home without a worry in the world and unloaded like pros. Im a big believer in taking the time it takes to ensure youngsters get the very best experience we can give them on their transportation, those first experiences either set them up for life or cause problems for life. Pleased we could help transport this lovely herd
