23.01.2022 With this very dry weather likely to continue, it's a great opportunity to review your garden practises! Are you limiting your watering to the cooler parts of the day? When planting, do you preference natives over exotics that may require more water than we currently have to give? Have you considered re-using water in inventive ways e.g. a bucket under the shower to be used on the garden? Dry, hot weather doesn't have to mean you give up on your garden! You just have to be smarter about it. Happy gardening!

18.01.2022 Make the most of the last month of spring by considering whether a patch of dense vegetation can actually be turned into something even more beautiful, useful and nature-friendly. Before clearing, always check what species you will be removing (Flo and Anthony checked for native bees, nests, natives etc.) and carefully plan how you will use all of this new space! What would you recommend to this client: a colourful edible garden, a meditation space filled with gardenias, jasmine and water features or maybe even a chicken run where some beautiful new chicks can bring life, joy and eggs?
