23.01.2022 WHATS ON THE BENCH? We were talking the other day about the practice box in the 70s that you could buy and place your trumpet, sax or other instrument inside the box with holes in the sides to fit your hands through and play away . So while you have a bit of time on your hands Maybe consider making a mute box .... So a box of the right size maybe some sound Insulation. egg cartons .foam . Other . Holes in the correct place . This should keep the kids and the older Kids occupied for some time . We think there might be some real good examples come out of this . So send us a photo. See more

15.01.2022 WHATS ON THE BENCH ? The following is an MG radiator shell that has suffered from damage and a NQR repair . Though the old repair may have passed years ago and had the car back on the road . ... Today we want the best , as it is the face of the car . MG radiator shells of this type are a rare item and one must do what one can to make the best of a sad situation. We were given two shells to make one quality one. In the photos you will see the damage in the corner of the shell. We have made two cuts and have silver soldered in an exacting piece from the donar shell. It is a very time consuming repair though one we enjoy . Our Father Kelvin started repairing vintage and veteran car bright ware in the 1960s and we continue it on today . Not finished but on its way ,with other repairs to be done . Thank you for stopping in . Steve and Dave Wright. See more
