24.01.2022 What another amazing Legends night we had with The Beavers, fantastic talented musicians, the dance floor was full, the variety of music played and DJ Ron, wow, a big thank you. What would the Legends do without the volunteers we need, to help set up/clean up at our events, especially now that we need to be COVID safe, before and after our night, and the requirements required during the night, due to the COVID-19 virus. A big thank you to our members for your wonderful supp...ort and patients over the trying months, consider yourselves heartily thanked from the committee. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, stay safe, until we meet again on the dance floor, when we have Cool Rockin’ Daddys on 20th November. 07.01.2022 Dear Members Booking is now open for our band night with the Beavers on Friday November 6th. Although you may have already informed Ann that you would like to attend our band nights this was an expression of interest only. You need to contact Ann Sharkey on 0458 095 746 (SMS or phone) to book attendance. Cost is $10 per person and in accordance with our Covid Safe Plan we are able to allow current Legends members only at this time to attend. ... As we are limited with numbers it may mean that some may miss out on attending. If however you miss out this time you will be put at the top of the list for our next event. IF YOU BOOK AND CANNOT ATTEND ON THE NIGHT YOU MUST RING AND INFORM ANN SO SHE CAN ORGANISE SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE YOUR PLACE. Tables and chairs will be placed for distancing and comfort and cannot be moved to join up with other tables. There will be a maximum of 8 people per table. Obligations We are required to keep an attendance record that includes your name, phone number, email address (if you have one) and date of attendance. This is a NON-LICENCED EVENT and therefore STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL allowed on the premises or surrounding areas NO BYO DRINKS as the Slovenian Club will be selling soft drinks and water. However you may bring any supper or nibbles for the evening. Doors will be open precisely at 7pm and band starts at 8pm How to book attendance 1. 1. You must be a current member 2. 2. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOUR NAME IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER THE PREMISES Dancing with a partner Under the Covid Safe Plan Every person should attempt to stay at least 1.5metres from other members of the public. However, this does not apply to people who live together, who are friends or family members, or people who regularly associate with each other However, dancing requires 2 square metres of space and therefore you must stay at least 2 metres from others.
