25.01.2022 ***** REGIONAL FINALS ***** We have had some requests for contestants to bring their own tracks to the Regional Finals, unfortunately this will not be possible. We have had issues in the past where discs wouldn't play or were scratched or USB's were corrupt. We don't want disappointed contestants when they can't sing what they have been practicing and we can't afford for a corrupt file to crash our computer and prevent the competition from going ahead. Contestants can howeve...r contact Adrian, if we are able to get the version of a song they wish to sing then we will do so. We will then email a copy of the file through to the contestants so that they check that its the correct version. Any contestants wishing to do this for Saturdays Regional Final MUST contact Adrian today or he will not have time to download the tracks. Anyone competing in next weeks Finals will need to contact Adrian by Tuesday as we have 2 finals running next weekend. See more

17.01.2022 VENUE FINALS START THIS WEEK!!! ** Don't forget that wildcards will be on offer for venue finals, we have 3 places per category per venue. If you have entered a heat but haven't made the final, head down to your venue this week and register with your host for a chance to be selected as a wildcard. Registrations will only be taken prior to the commencement of the final, once the competition has started you will not be eligible. ** The bonus points from your weekly attendance ...will be applied to your venue final score. ** Don't forget to refer to the Legends Songlist for inspiration on songchoice. Every point counts at this stage of the competition so the more bonus points you can earn, the better your chances!! Goodluck to all contestants!!

16.01.2022 If you are looking for dinner option for Saturday night the Manhatten Hotel has an all you can eat buffet or counter meals in the sports bar. Bookings are essential for the buffet, the Bistro at our last State Final venue was fully booked by the Friday lunch time so please book early, the buffet is very busy on a normal Saturday night let alone in the middle of the silly season!!

The new Facebook video competition for videos from the Regional Finals and State Final will begin 9 am Sunday 8th December. Please note the upload date has changed by 1 week to give all competitors the same amount of time for voting. The video with the most likes by 10 pm Sunday 21st December will win $300. Only performances filmed and uploaded during the Regional or State finals will be eligible for the $300 prize. You may NOT use a performance from the heats or venue finals as an entry towards the $300 prize.

13.01.2022 We have a big weekend coming up, the WESTERN REGIONAL FINAL at Skyways hotel Friday night and the EASTERN REGIONAL FINAL at the Mountain View Hotel on Saturday night. All competitors please note.....as per the terms and conditions you must not repeat a song from your qualifying heat, venue final or regional final. You must sing 3 different songs. If you repeat a song, you will not be eligible for the bonus points for song selection. At this stage in the competition, it is unlikely that you will make it through to the State Final without any bonus points so please choose your songs carefully.

08.01.2022 **STATE FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT** We have had a few questions regarding the State Final. Contestants will be singing one song only and unfortunately there won't be time for a warm up song as we have 26 contestants to get through.... Contestants can sing whatever they choose to sing, if more than one person chooses the same song both contestants will be notified and given the opportunity to change their song if they wish but if neither person wants to change, both contestants will sing the same song. Contestants can now sing a song that they have previously perfomed in the Heats, Venue Finals or Regional Finals. The singing order won't be announced until the beginning of the competition on Saturday night. Remember to refer to the Legends guide on the Legends website for songchoice bonus points, bonus points became a determining factor for the winners of the Regional Finals. There will also be wildcards on offer at all Regional Finals so if you have entered a heat at any of the participating venues and you are not already singing in a Regional Final, come down and enter the draw to be a wildcard.
