20.01.2022 Today marked a key milestone for the Firm. We settled our first NSW electronic conveyancing transaction today. This is quite different from the traditional face to face paper based approach. Property Exchange Australia or PEXA allows Lawyers, Banks, Conveyancers, the Revenue Office, and Land Titles to come together online to exchange and settle property transactions. The system is optional in NSW but we decided to participate early so that our clients enjoy the benefits. The future has arrived.

17.01.2022 COVID-19 We are concerned about the welfare of our staff and our clients. We are taking steps within the office to address the risks from COVID-19. Often we meet with our clients for face to face interviews to review their Contracts, discuss their Wills, or deal with other legal matters. For years we have also dealt with clients who are overseas or interstate and not been able to meet face to face. We are extending this remote service to any client that requires it.... We can deal with matters through email, over the phone, or using Skype. This is particularly important for our older client or those such as the immunocompromised that are at higher risk of infection. 16.01.2022 When she's playing for the Foxes Taryn Robson (Taz) is cooly scoring goals, having returned to the field last week after much of the season off with a significant injury. She calmly slotted two goals away - any nerves were well hidden for the 2016 Golden boot winner. Taz didn't just give to the team, more importantly she took time out this week to volunteer for the Cancer Council to raise all important funds for the charity.

13.01.2022 This is one of the meeting rooms in our office. It is empty. Why is it empty? Well I kept this week free of appointments in order to attend a course. Circumstances are such that I am not attending that course this week. I could do a bunch of work in my office, I could take off to the Coast, I could watch TV, instead I have a better idea. 13.01.2022 First came the hail, then the sleet, then the snow. In terrible conditions today the Foxes won their semi final 6 - 0. The team played incredibly well and dominated play from the start. At the end of a tough, freezing game the players left the field smiling. The spectators were thanked for braving the cold and all went home to warm up. Next week will see the Foxes in the Grand Final.... Well done and well played.
