Well done to youth player Declan McAlister and FNQ Head of SAP + TSP (and Premier Men player) Zenon Caravella for their efforts representing the region in the state championships this week. Dec’s FNQ U16s were undefeated in their competition, playing against other regional & NPL based squads from around the state. ... Well done lads!

08.01.2022 Lions in the news again today. Nice feature article in the Cairns Post today on young Seamus Fowler who had his first start for the Premier Men last weekend. Not bad for a 14 year old ... The boys have taken to him and our other ‘apprentice’ this year Declan Macallister who has also contributed off the bench in previous games. Both are local Leichhardt juniors, and have big futures ahead of them if they keep putting in the work that they are.
