25.01.2022 Cygnets Video of the Week: Ground ball skills

25.01.2022 Great start to the season for our u11s at Hornsby Berowra Eagles today. Super proud of the effort from all the kids - it was tough at times, and there's definitely stuff for us coaches to work on, but they stuck at the task, were competitive for 3 of the 4 quarters and really enjoyed themselves. Special mention to Vinny Gardiner for a best on ground performance at full back in his first ever game.

21.01.2022 U12’s really starting to get going, skills are good and positional play is coming back. Just a few more training sessions until the first game. Can’t wait.

20.01.2022 Rough day at the office for our U11s at a very, very wet glover St today against a very good Lane Cove Cats. Despite the soaking and a pretty heavy defeat, the kids kept flying into tackles right to the end - no one could ever question their effort levels or their resilience. Excellent work kids.

17.01.2022 A heartbreaking end to an excellent all-round performance for our u11s in the club's grand final debut today. The game was an arm wrestle throughout, but the boys were looking good as they went into three quarter time 15 points up. But the Forest Lions got all the momentum in the final quarter, scoring the winning goal with less than 2 minutes to go. All the players and coaches should be super proud of their performance both today and over the season as a whole. Well done to one and all.

There's a chance to win cars, some great AFL and AFLW memorabilia, and some training sessions. Every cent spent goes to the club. 12.01.2022 Happy Grand Final Eve everyone! Hugest of good luck messages to our U11s, taking part in the club's first ever grand final tomorrow against Forest Lions at Campbell Field, Macquarie Uni at 9am. Win or lose, the club is so proud of all the players and coaches for your achievements in this awesome season. Would love to see some Cygnets fans there to cheer them on!

While our U11s were ruled ineligible to compete for the Cygnets i...n the finals, they turned out to support on the ground and cheer them on to a huge win. 07.01.2022 Hey Everyone! The Sydney Swans are attending the Norton Street Festival this Sunday, October 27th. With plenty of great Sydney Swans giveaways, the chance to chat all things Swans, and the opportunity to sign-up and renew memberships, we hope to see as many of you as possible to attend the Sydney Swans marquee at the festival. And right next to the Swans marquee, you'll see Cygnets players, parents and committee members handing out flyers. Hopefully we can secure some new pla...yers for 2020 also. It's a great opportunity for local Swans fans to learn they can play the game so close to home. If you have an hour or two to spare, we could really do with help handing out the flyers.
