After checking a new spot at low tide i located a rock bar and found myself under a Jack attack with nearly 30 jacks landed a barra as bi catch with a lot of other species on the tally as well! 04.01.2022 A year ago today, a quick fish after work and I landed my first meter Barramundi going 101cm. Caught it off the bank using a 4inch Zman swimmer in redbone on a light snake lock jig head skipping it slowly off the bottom. At least ten years id been chasing this fish only to come up with 99cm atleast 50 odd times! Persistence pays off! Learn every time you fish, understand the patterns of the ecosystem and the species your chasing and you will get one eventually. This big gir...l broke the dam walls for me with well over 20 1m + barra landed that season!! And of course the big girl swam away to keep the babies coming
