The choice to include hairdressing and barbering as an essential service relates back to previous recessions and one important qualification Hairdressers have. * We boost morale- During the economic downturns when there is widespread job losses, people were still wanting to look their best especially for job interviews. 'Hairdressing services are one of the things people still will afford, rather than buy big ticket items they will go and get their hair done. * Hairdressers are up there with nurses trained up in the correct protocols to prevent the spread of viruses So keep disinfecting all frequently used objects and surfaces throughout the day, applying hand sanitiser before and after treatments. Most of these restrictions are in place to protect the hairdresser... who in return we protect the client. We are essential ....that’s a pretty good feeling! See more
