25.01.2022 What a time to be alive... i didn’t think my life would be that much different in iso but this situation has a way of permeating everything. Anyway, it’s nice to be in the studio painting today. I’m just loving these glorious autumn days we’re having at the moment. I imagine this scene would be a lot different now as Mt Wilson is probably awash with autumn colour. Hope you’re all doing ok. 25.01.2022 So much about the last month seems surreal. I still can’t believe the landscape I saw and painted around Mt Irvine and Mt Wilson is now blackened. And so many other beautiful places too... that in our country, in just a few weeks, lives, ecosystems and communities have been lost or changed forever. The little show of works from my Blue Mountains residency is now drawing to a close, with just three days left to run. If you are in Katoomba over the weekend, I’m sure the town would love to welcome you. It was great to meet some insta friends in person, catch up with new people and see some familiar faces again too.
