25.01.2022 Wishing all the mothers a magical and relaxing day. There's nothing like a mother's love to give us all the strength we need to succeed. Mums are the best!

21.01.2022 C O M M U N I T Y C O M M I T M E N T Over the years, the the staff at Holland Park Pool have thoroughly enjoyed teaching the students of St Mary's War Memorial Primary School in West Wyalong, the very important and life long skill of swimming; it truly is an IMPORTANT SKILL FOR LIFE. To show our appreciation for their continued support and putting their faith in us to not only teach their schools intensive swimming program for the past 6 years, but to also teach water safety, survival skills and some First Aid to their students, we have donated a 2020/21 Family Season Pass to the schools P&F Committee.

21.01.2022 Who would do this? Maybe when I was a child but it’s a firm NO WAY from me.

19.01.2022 Remember, in these challenging and uncertain times it’s important to take time to look after yourself. Try to do 1 thing you enjoy, just for you, each day. It might be as simple as sitting down and actually drinking your morning coffee.

19.01.2022 We all play an important role in keeping not only ourselves but others healthy and safe. https://youtu.be/eWS1rDVZliM

18.01.2022 We take all health and safety issues seriously, including the current situation we all face,Covid-19. Just like providing qualified instructors for our Learn To Swim lessons and lifeguards to watch over the pools, we're providing safe environments for all; our loyal members, valued visitors and our employees. Safety is our priority, and we have a covid safe plan to help play our part in keeping everyone safe.

17.01.2022 If 30minutes of walking does this to your body, imagine what 30minutes of swimming does???? If you’re serious about your health and well-being, jump on in and swim. Think you can’t, think again. Y E S Y O U C A N !!!... Plus the comment that gets thrown out there a lot is, What will people think? Or What will people say? Would you make comments about someone else who is swimming? Chances are no! So, Be K I N D and this means to yourself too.

17.01.2022 Easter is looking and feeling very different for many of us this year. Social distancing measures and restrictions on our movements mean significant changes to a holiday that is typically spent surrounded by family and friends. Even though we all have to #stayhome this long weekend (and all the days to follow), we can still make this time special. Stop and slow down. Cherish and enjoy the extra time you are having with your family. There is a lot of uncertainty and our dail...y routines have drastically changed which can be a challenging time for many. Remember, it’s ok not to be ok, but reach out and seek help. If you're having trouble coping with isolation, or are concerned about the wellbeing of others, remember there is always help available. Check out ReachOut.com Australia, which includes tips for dealing with isolation and uncertainty. https://bit.ly/2y2LIJy From all the team at the L&R Group, we wish you and your family a safe and fun-filled Easter Weekend.

02.01.2022 Lucy has grown up in and around the aquatic environment. Growing up with her aunty managing the Temora Swimming Pool, Lucy literally lived there, and gained employment as a lifeguard during her late teens. After completing her degree - Bachelor of applied Science in Outdoor Recreation and Ecotourismin, in Albury, she moved back to the area and settled in West Wyalong. "It was only right that I came back to the pool to work out where my degree could take me and funnily enough I've landed the best job in town. I can not wait for another packed season." We are thrilled to have Lucy back on pool deck for another season as the Holland Park Aquatic Manager. Lucy is a very vibrant capable person who will be able to assist you with any questions throughout the season.
