22.01.2022 Totally delighted that, on the day the same sex marriage survey resulted in a resounding YES, I have been asked to marry two same sex couples. One couple are lovely friends whom I first married in a civil partnership in 2009, so I am really looking forward to take two on that ceremony.

20.01.2022 I like marrying couples who met online. I admire their courage and clarity

20.01.2022 Great new local wedding site

19.01.2022 A beautiful Mary fan story from Maureen. Thank you so much for sharing this with us! Mary's work helped my sweetheart and I put our love for each other into wo...rds and action. When we sat down to write the vows for our wedding, we struggled to find a way to express how we wanted to live together in love, tenderness and empathy, how we will care for each other, and at the same time give each other some grace to be human, to laugh at ourselves and follow the arc of the ups and downs of life. Mary's poem Rhapsody became our voice, and we used these words as our wedding vows: If you are in the garden, I will dress myself in leaves. If you are in the sea I will slide into that smooth blue nest, I will talk fish, I will adore salt. But if you are sad, I will not dress myself in desolation. I will present myself with all the laughters I can muster. And if you are angry I will come, calm and steady, with some small and easy story. Promises, promises, promises! The tongue jabbers, the heart strives, falls, strives again. The world is perfect. Love, however, is an opera, a history, a long walk, that includes falling and rising, falling and rising, while the heart stays as sweet as a peach, as radiant and grateful as the deep-leaved hills. We just celebrated fifteen years of marriage. Mary's words hang on our wall, and often come to mind when one of us is celebrating, or struggling, or just needs the other to come calm and steady with some small and easy story.
