25.01.2022 Burns Beach 2016

23.01.2022 Perth's most striking and probably least well known waterfall: Bells Falls, Brigadoon. Looking forward to another go at this when the water is in full flow later this year. Best viewed large or rotate your phone.

22.01.2022 I'm building a new website and selecting photos. I've just processed this: Burns Beach, 28 March 2017.

21.01.2022 Working on my website (much to do). Here are my choices for Applecross. Those beautiful old pylons on the eastern side of the jetty were smashed down by a storm a couple of years ago.

21.01.2022 Bunbury port at dawn yesterday morning, from the new Jetty Road Causeway.

20.01.2022 Sometimes the "blue hour" before first light is not blue. This is a panorama of the Perth skyline looking across the Swan River from Applecross. Looks best viewed large or with phone rotated.

19.01.2022 Point Peron this morning.

13.01.2022 I knew there would be no cloud, so I made the most of the "blue hour" and a strong foreground provided by some rather sharp rocks.

12.01.2022 Bunbury is defined by being a port and the built landscape is not always pretty, but when the light is right, the industrial skyline can be quite beautiful. This was taken yesterday from the new Jetty Road Causeway.

11.01.2022 Another panorama for the new website: Dark and stormy at the Barrack Street jetty.

11.01.2022 Thinking of putting this one in the Hills section of my new website. Moonset, Swan View

11.01.2022 Another for the new website: The top of Bells Falls in Brigadoon.

10.01.2022 When I captured this moonbeam yesterday at Point Annah, Trigg Beach, Perth, I was balancing myself and my tripod on some pretty pointy and sharp rocks and could...n't get the moonbeam between the two rocks. I managed it later, but the light was gone. After my coach, Brian Abbott, said "pity you couldn't get the moonbeam between the rocks", I decided to give it a go in Photoshop. I spent about four hours of trial and error and managed after three attempts to get a seamless composite image. Here's the before and after (after first!). See more

09.01.2022 Another for the new website, which is taking shape nicely. Bells Rapids in Brigadoon.

06.01.2022 So pleased. One of my photos has just won a prize in one of my favourite landscape photography groups.

06.01.2022 A summer morning at Penguin Island jetty, Rockingham 2017 - another for the new website under construction. Merry West Australian Christmas everyone.

06.01.2022 Thought I'd post something with a bit of fire in the sky. This is an image I've selected for the rebuild of my website. It's Trigg Beach.

03.01.2022 East Fremantle in WA this morning. I've been tracking this high cloud and the Jerrat Drive beach, a fave spot, lit up like a roman candle. It's taken about five years to get this shot. No saturation added. It looked just like that.
