23.01.2022 The big blue Bulli house! A very unique wall colour that probably wouldnt look right in so many other suburbs, but fits fits in here very nicely. Eaves and garage door in "surfmist" to suit the roof. Shed added on to blend in with the surrounding "monument" fence. @ Bulli, New South Wales

21.01.2022 Quick freshen-up of this old 50s home in Bulli. Paint isnt just to make your house look nice, it is also protects the structure. Cracking paint means moisture can get in and rot timber, which needs more than a coat of paint to fix! Luckily only small areas were affected on this house, so the repairs werent too serious. If the exterior of your home is looking a bit dry, get in touch (not literally, social distancing and all) to organise a free quote.

21.01.2022 The sprayer has been getting a good workout latley. Gone are the long days of brushing in between every brick. Not to mention how satisfying it is! Colour - Endless Dusk, Dulux.

20.01.2022 A few pictures of a recent job I had the pleasure of being a part of. Theres so much of it I couldnt get pictures of it all or there would be hundreds! When the new stairs came, the timber on the treads of the stairs looked nothing like what they chose in the show room (supposed to match the floor boards in the top level but looked very pink, see 8th picture) After asking other painters, flooring specialists, my paint supploer, and trying several different products to get the finish they wanted with no success at all we were starting to think there was no solution. Then I thought about diluting some bleach to suck some of the pinkish colour out of it. And it came up perfect! A couple coats of water based estapole and its ready to get walked all over! Colour- Dulux Natural White low sheen on walls and Satin for the doors and trim.

20.01.2022 The old and the new. Little bit faded over the last 13 years! Getting to it just in time, another summer or two and it would have been a much bigger job. Two areas finished so they can be enjoyed over Christmas while I hang the brush up for a well deserved holiday!

20.01.2022 A couple sections of a job completed earlier this week. Its not very common at all to put gloss on a wall, but its what they asked for so its what they got! I must say it was a good idea for such a dark colour. With "Miller mood 1/4" on some walls (light blue) and Natural White on other walls, wood work and doors. A feature wall in "jimbaran bay" and "monument" on the hand rail and Newells. @ Helensburgh, New South Wales, Australia

12.01.2022 11 French doors, undercoat and two top coats on both sides. Thats basically painting the exact same door 66 times! Extremely time consuming but as always, looking at the finished product makes it all worth it.

It has been a great couple of years. I have been lucky enough to work on so many houses in the town I grew up in (and for one Aussie rock & roll legend I grew up listening to) but its time to head north and see what its like painting houses in sunny Queensland (the warmer winters sound alright too) Thank you to all who have supported my business. Even just recommending me to friends and family or just liking a Facebook post, it all helps.

09.01.2022 Just a very small section of a recent colorbond fence respray. The colour had faded, but there was nothing wrong with the fence itself. So why replace the whole thing? The woodland grey colour looks so good next to the surrounding trees.

03.01.2022 No rest for the wicked apparently! Spending Christmas at the in-laws new house in QLD and I couldnt help myself, I just had to hide this old Swede effect feature wall. I decided to go with a Dulux colour "oolong" to suit the lounges, dark enough without being completely black ... Merry Christmas everyone! And to everyone who is planning on spending their Christmas break painting the house, give me a call in the new year!
