25.01.2022 I never thought that stepping out of my 'comfort zone' 10 years ago was going to take me on a such a journey... I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be affiliated with such an iconic brand let alone representing them. Let's be honest for those of you who know me well, know I live in leggings and t-shirts sporting my famous messy mum bun ... and pretty much only glam up when I've got somewhere to go (which is not often as our kids are still so young). The reaction on some people's faces when they realise I'm a makeup artist is sometimes priceless because let's face it I never wear makeup and I'm clearly no insta famous face I'm totally humbled and blown away at being selected for the YSL MUA Program 2020 I just wanted to thank my amazing clients for their ongoing support, loyalty and love but most of all Adam. Reminiscing in ISO It actually got me thinking about the events of that year and if I had my time again would I have done anything differently? That was the year I finally let my guard down and fell in love with my husband (who actually took that photo).... I would say yes!!! Yes I would have probably given Adam more of a chance when I actually met him for the first time when I was 22. All I thought at the time was who's this drunk guy sticking his head through the window of my car trying to chat me up when I picked up my bestie from a 21st they were both at. How different would my life be today? Would we have gotten married earlier or had more children? Would the relationships we both had prior to each other getting together 6 years later have shaped us to be more suited? Who knows.
