02.01.2022 About: Located on Moorabool St, Len Day Car Radio is a family owned business that has been providing aftermarket accessory advice and installations since 1965. We pride ourselves on providing quality electronic solutions to the City of Greater Geelong and beyond. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable installer to join the team with an immediate start. Previous experienced is desirable but not essential. You must be a quick learner and comfortable with working in a ...fast paced environment. A current driver’s licence is essential, as you will be required to drive customer/dealer vehicles. Main duties include fitting and repairing a wide range of automotive accessories such as: Radio and multimedia units Reverse sensors & cameras Speakers, amplifiers and sub woofers UHF, Marine radio and GPS Dash Cameras and trackers You may also be required to assist with general duties such as: Front of house customer service Answering phone calls and taking bookings Keeping the showroom and workshop tidy To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate and have a good understanding of the following: Previous experience with Automotive electrical work Take instruction and not afraid to ask questions Good attention to detail and strong workmanship Ability to work autonomously and take initiative Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills Well presented with a friendly professional manner This is a permanent full-time position and is subject to an initial 3-month probationary period. Tools and product training will be provided. Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8:45 to 5:30 Remuneration dependant on previous experience and will be discussed at the interview stage.
