25.01.2022 As an artist representing us at Eurovision, I think these 5 areas are important: Lovability(on/off the stage) stage presence I want to be drawn to them as a person and want to feel warmth, friendship and vulnerability/honesty. I want confidence but not cockiness as this distances me and doesn't allow me to connect to them. It also puts them above me, rather than being an equal and I feel like I no longer am having a conversation with them. It's ultimately about befriendi...ng your audience. Credibility We develop trust with our artists based on their CV. They need to prove themselves to us! My greatest question is: Can they deliver? Their career achievements and age play a huge part in this. Stage show does the visuals match the sound? What is their brand? Is it engaging? Does it pull me in or create a disconnect between what I am hearing and what I am seeing? Song content and strength of it. Vocals Pitch and Tone are the main 2 areas I am listening to. Start where you are, with what you have. Just ....Start." Love this! So often perfectionism stops us from giving something new a go and often gets in the way of us achieving our true potential!
