25.01.2022 Im firing my kiln today. It’s been a long stretch between firings- we’re shuffling rooms in the house so I’ve been without a studio for a couple of months. 15.01.2022 The upside to 1/ a broken washing machine 2/ buying something new for a change 3/ getting it home delivered 4/ and being in lockdown! ... 08.01.2022 A few months ago we decided that my old studio would make a better bedroom for the kids due to size and orientation. The grossly underestimated project of a loft bed for three has left me with no studio for months, until now, and it’s better than ever. This cute cupboard from the tip shop was the deal sealer for the move for me. I love old cupboards and this one has a super cool angled overhead section with sliding glass doors. It’s had a few coats of paint and made truly special by local artist @marnistuart designed wallpaper lining it (available at spoonflower.com).
