24.01.2022 Ballina Shire Council will meet again next month to determine when the Lennox Markets will be allowed to commence trade again.Hopefully this will be soon I will keep you all updated as soon as any news comes in.
24.01.2022 The Lennox Market reopening is still underdetermined as yet. The council are to meet this month to clarify this. I wish I had more to tell you but am waiting like you. soon hopefully all the best to everyone

Bring back the Lennox Markets ASAP !!
22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, no news yet on re-opening of the Lennox Markets, but will work with other Market Managers to plan the reopening of the markets, and make sure it is as safe as possible for our Visitors and Stallholders. I will keep you updated.

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The Lennox Market won't be on this Sunday 13th and the decision to reopen is still pending a meeting by Ballina Shire Council to decide.this is set down for September and I will let you know asap. Mike
06.01.2022 Hi All this is an update from the minutes of the council meeting in regard to the Lennox Community Market reopening. From my understanding, there is a DA process for the use of the market land and then expressions of interest will be sort for the Market Manager/Licensee. Minutes of the Council Meeting held on the 24.09.20... That Council proceed with an expression of interest process for the management of the Lennox Head Community Market at Williams Reserve. From my understanding, there is a DA process first for the use of the market land and then expressions of interest will be sort for the Market Manager/Licensee.odge a development application for the operation of the market on the land to enable the market outcome endorsed through the expression of interest process. 3. That, following the expression of interest process and appointment of a market manager, Council enables the use of Williams Reserve for a small scale market under the terms of SEPP (Exempt and Complying Development Codes) 2008.

01.01.2022 Lennox Community Market Update: The Ballina Shire Council has had several decisions to make regarding the Lennox Community Market reopening. This included the location and Management under Covid -19 restrictions. The Market License was tendered for EOI for Management and I have decided not to apply after Managing for 6 years. Unfortunately, no other entity or organisation has applied for the Management of the Markets either. This leaves the future of the Lennox Markets in l...imbo at this stage. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the loyal Lennox Community, the visitors to the market over the years, the stallholders, mostly local, and my friends, for their support by showing up in sometimes horrible conditions to trade and help provide a great event for the community. The Market would not have been the Market without the fantastic local Musicians who provided entertainment for not a lot of money. To all the local charities, organisations, community information stalls, and the Lennox Community Centre Staff thank you very much for your part of the Lennox Market.
