23.01.2022 PARK LANE TO BECOME SAFER, SLOWER AND GREENER Council will install a range of temporary measures to reduce traffic speed and increase the vibrancy o...f Park Lane in Lennox Head and its surrounds. These temporary measures have been identified through community consultation for the Lennox Village Vision project. These measures will be installed from December 2020 to February 2021, and will be in place for up to nine months. They include: traffic calming and raised crossing points on Park Lane and Ballina Street near Rutherford Street (end of January) roundabout at the Ballina Street and Allens Parade intersection (end of January) 30km/h speed limit in the village centre mural and parklet at the skate park and Lennox Head Cultural Centre section of footpath connecting Park Lane with the main street decorative pavement treatments and lighting. During this time traffic and pedestrian data will be collected to inform future stages of the Lennox Village Vision project. These temporary works are funded through the NSW Government’s ‘Streets as Shared Spaces’ program. 20.01.2022 Merry Christmas from the Heritage Committee and Surfing Santa. A few of our members are missing from the photos and I just know they also send their best wishes for a relaxing few days in the lead up to the New Year. The beach pavilion has been our meeting place for a few months now until we are able to utilise the Heritage Room to accommodate the whole team.

03.01.2022 Nitsua is looking for some older kids to help out getting the mural up. "I'm looking for some.. with a bit of artistic experience to help with the stencil work" he said.
