19.01.2022 PLEASE READ BELOW: REAL TALK I wanted to say a few words from the heart, I will try to make this brief but please bear with me. These last 6 months have been interesting to say the least The trials and tribulations of opening our first business and being hit with a pandemic straight off the bat amongst a very long list of obstacles & curve balls.... This week was RECORD BREAKING for us, just this weekend alone was the busiest we’ve had on record by over double! (and that included us closing early on both days) I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has come through Lenox Avenue the last 27 weeks and kept us strong. A special thank you to our community up here for the unmatched and unwavering support. You have all continued to amaze us every day with everything that you do for us. Over the next few months, we really want to give back to the community up here and have a few plans but more on that later. When worst comes to worst, my peoples come first Dilated Peoples I am so thankful for the incredible team that we have here at Lenox Avenue because without them none of this would be possible. The last two days I have seen the most amazing teamwork, supporting one another, taking anything and everything in their stride. I have never experienced a team like this anywhere I have ever worked before. I have to mention Josephine or as we call her The Queen of L.A. working a full-time job of her own all the while baking at night, handling all the admin work etc She truly has earned her title of Queen. I am so fucking proud of our team THE REALEST ! These past couple of months have been crazy for us but we have never been in such a good position as we are now. We are so excited for our growth over the next couple of months, there is so much to come so please watch this space.
