21.01.2022 Never Stop Improving Skills in Photography Quality Sensors and Interchangeable lenses can get great results. One of the things that stands out as a genuine difference between using a mobile phone and using a proper digital camera is the ability to get really nice sharp images. Not that in themselves mobile phones do not give a reasonably sharp image. When you look at most images that you see taken on mobile phones in anything less than ideal lighting conditions there is no doubt that they do not compare to what can be produced using a real camera. 20.01.2022 If you search through all of the reviews online looking for the ideal perfect camera then one thing is certain. YOU WONT FIND IT. Not in any technical sense. And if you do find one and claim that it is perfect you will be crushed under the voices of people who totally disagree with you. We all have at least slightly different needs when it comes to photography. [ 2,090 more words ] https://lenscraftphotography.net//defining-the-perfect-ca/
20.01.2022 Over the course of the last few months we have had a number of restrictions here in Western Australia. We had to avoid crowds and maintain social distancing. Not always easy as not everyone seemed to get it and driving up the coast i was amazed on some occasions at how relaxed some were. Having said that we did a lovely trip to South Perth and everyone was so well behaved and obviously observing the guidelines. 20.01.2022 I make no secret of the fact that I really enjoy using Sony cameras. The Sony mirrorless bodies are outstanding, and particularly since they have managed to make cameras that have slightly better batteries. Now you get a really good working life out of the battery. I have been very impressed with the performance of these cameras. Why I Like Sony [ 946 more words ] https://lenscraftphotography.net/2020/04/20/saving-my-hands/
19.01.2022 In Western Australia we are following the same rules as the rest of Australia regarding not going out unless absolutely necessary. One of the areas where we like to go for a walk is Mindarie. This is a coastal area just up the road from where we live. It boasts a marina and a lovely man-made harbor and sea wall as well as nice beaches to the north and south. [ 694 more words ] https://lenscraftphotography.net//lockdown-and-photography/

16.01.2022 Convenience and Speed Rules Photography At one time photography was the pastime of the wealthy. It took people with a fair amount of money to have both the resources and the time to spend taking photographs. For most people the struggle just to get by was enough. However such was the fascination with photography that it didn't take long for people to find a way of making it a pastime suitable for more the general population. 12.01.2022 In photography, there are a number of non arguments. That is, arguments that people have that simply are not valid because there is a lack of context when it comes to the nature of the discussion. JPEG or RAW? Why the discussion? One such argument is the question of whether JPEG is better than raw or raw is better than JPEG. [ 1,003 more word ] https://lenscraftphotography.net//more-non-arguments-in-p/
05.01.2022 When did you last produce a print 1 m wide? Assuming that you ever produce prints and do not simply share things on social media or show them on your phone, most people produce prints that are approximately 150 mm wide not 1000 mm wide. But the question is an important one when it relates to the sort of megapixels that camera companies seem determined to make us use. 02.01.2022 The rise of the electronic viewfinder has been an interesting one. It's not so long ago that you would find camera reviewers and photographers talking scornfully about the electronic viewfinder. It was felt that a normal viewfinder or optical viewfinder offered so many advantages that the electronic viewfinder would be a short lived thing. Now it's important to recognize that both viewfinders have advantages and disadvantages. [ 785 more words ] https://lenscraftphotography.net/2020/07/06/why-evf/
01.01.2022 If you're like me, you enjoy reading reviews and I thoroughly enjoy a good review. I've got favorite sites and I expect that you do as well. I like some where they get into the real technical detail about the cameras. But the ones I really enjoy are those where perhaps there's a little bit more on where people talk about how they use the camera in the field, and they tend to really look at the pros and cons as far as the camera is concerned.
