13.01.2022 Angkor temples and Cambodia should be on your bucketlist... I had the chance to spend 2 weeks this January with my family This video with rough footage taken during the 64km Bayon trail to share: - the fantastic work of Ultra-Trail d'Angkor organisers and the amazing opportunity to discover the other side of the temples and the surrounding villages/landscape (rice pads...) - the spirit of trail runners, this sport is quite unique and while everyone is pushing its physical and... mental limits there is such support and kindness among participants - a big shout out to all the runners in particular Laurent who pushed me for ~30 km - what happened in my head (in French) for my relatives and dear friends who could not physically be on my side but will always be in my heart Sorry if the quality of the images is not always good, it was taken during the race from my phone...

12.01.2022 Hope everyone is doing well in this difficult time where most of us #stayhome For those who know me, connecting people, finding solutions to complex problems and helping organisations to grow internationally are the things that drive me and got me to create Australiance 10 years ago... Like many of you, the tons of #coronavirus bad news over the last months coupled with the #lockdown has impacted me personally as well as from a business perspective.... Now more than ever it is time to rebound and look forward to pivot, innovate and define the new norm... Thanks to my team's hard work over the last 2 weeks, we are now in a position to introduce Startup&Angels Online #1 and until we will be able to safely connect in person, we will do our best to deliver our original value proposition to your home. For our first digital event, we will explore some of the initial lessons learned of this crisis for international scaleups. I will be joined by 3 top international leaders next Thursday 9 April at 9am AEST who will share how their industries and organisations are impacted by this global crisis and what tomorrow could look like Cynthia Dearin (Founder & International Business Strategist) Dearin & Associates Luis Felipe Sanchez (Managing Director ANZ) Receipt Bank Neil Luo (Head of Growth) Airwallex There are less than 20 "seats" available for our 1st online event (FREE) so please join the conversation and see you soon! 06.01.2022 Dear all, I thought I would do this short live update to share with you how the Australiance Team is doing in this extraordinary environment: My key focus this week has been to support my staff, our community and our Talent Acquisition and Consulting clients in this fast changing environment My team and I have made hundred of phone calls this week with clients, partners, candidates and it s reassuring to see how everyone is keeping a cold head and take actions to stay hea...lthy including social distancing. Ensuring everyone is safe and supported in this difficult time There are some difficult decisions to be taken for everyone, especially international professionals living in Australia. Some have made the choice to go back to their home countries to be close to their families in this difficult time. We support their decisions and wish them farewell. There is a lot of information coming through regularly and it is necessary not to panic and be rational. We will start sharing information that have been vetted by relevant authorities on our social media. We have implemented a coronavirus policy (see link in Comment section) and our team has been working from home since Wednesday. We have decided to postpone all our upcoming events and are now fast tracking the development of a new platform for you to continue to learn and network We are All in this together. There are a lot of lessons learned for all of us in this situation and we will see a number of positive changes in the process of dealing with this unprecedented challenge. I wish you all to be safe and keep doing things that make you happy on a daily basis. Leo #coronavirus #australiance #events #australia #sydney #staytogether #keeppositive

02.01.2022 Ma vision du confinement en Australie et sur l apres Covid dans une video-interview pour #onlylyon #sydney #covid #staysafe #confinement #australie Australiance

01.01.2022 Hi all I thought I would give a quick update on our experience of the tragic bushfires as Sydneysiders Over the last 2 days, the pollution in town as really reduced thanks to the wind particularly. Below are some pictures taken earlier this week in Tamarama (n.b: it was a sunny day but you could not see the skyline) and CBD (see how you can hardly see the top of Sydney tower) We wore masks for the first time as we saw the impact (especially on our young children) of breathi...ng the smoke over days. Here is a good article (not very optimistic though given the dry weather forecast) on how long would the fires last : https://www.theguardian.com//australias-bushfire-crisis-ho I know there is already a number of discussions on #climatechange - to me the question I would like a response from global leaders too is how hard would that be to develop bombs to protect life? When we can send space rockets, develop nuclear bombs, tanks, submarines... #bushfires #sydney

01.01.2022 Check out our next digital event featuring top entrepreneurs from emerging markets (Indonesia, Nepal and Papua New Guinea) to share stories and insight on their startup ecosystems during the crisis. Amazing to see the Startup&Angels Online community growing day after day (over 160 members joined in just 2 weeks) and sharing resources, wins and tips.... Join our community in few clicks and the conversation at our event next Thursday 30 April https://startupsandangels.ramenlife.co/home
