23.01.2022 It is with great excitement that the Leongatha Football Netball Club announce there junior football coaches for the 2021 season. The U16 are going to get the best possible guidance and teaching with our Senior Coach Paul Carbis also coaching our U16 team. This is a role Paul has performed previously and he believes it is the perfect way to teach our younger players the game plan and structures that will help fast track there development. We have been fortunate enough to see ...how much our juniors have already developed with Paul’s assistance from a distance in the past few years. Many of these are now cementing positions in our senior team which is great for our club. Our U18 are just as lucky to have our Number 1 Ruckman and Senior club leader/cult hero Benny Willis taking over our U18’s. Ben has been a big part of U18’s coaching set up for a number of years and is loved and respected by all that represent our U18. Ben knows what is required to be successful as a team and a player and will be passing this onto our boys. Ben will be working to get all these boys ready for senior football while making sure they enjoy all their time at the club. As he has in the past Ben will be pushing to have as many thirds boys putting there hand up for senior selection. We congratulate and welcome both Paul and Ben to these positions. LFNC

23.01.2022 I am absolutely delighted to announce that Kasie Rump and Jaclyn Smith will be our B grade coaches for 2021! Kasie and Jac have grown up with the Parrots family, are both accomplished players and skilled coaches in their own right. 05.01.2022 Massive congratulations to Zach REID on being Leongatha FNC’s 3rd top 10 AFL Draft pick, joining Jarryd Roughead from the 2004 draft and his new captain, Dyson Heppell from the 2010 draft. Zach is the son of Craig and Meagan, Meagan being a past Kestrels netballer and a legend of South Gippsland netball, and Craig’s career includes being a past captain and two time premiership player at Leongatha. Zach started at the Inverloch Junior Football Club, to the U15s at Inverloch ...then U16s and U18s at Leongatha FNC, TAC Cup at Gippsland Power and now arriving at Essendon.
