25.01.2022 Thank you to those players or family members that volunteered to help out this weekend at the deb balls. At this stage the deb balls have been postponed. When new dates are set we will again ask for volunteers again. Thank you.
22.01.2022 Good Morning Town Netballers and families, We have received an email from the LDNA regarding the possibility of an 8 or 9 week competition starting 25th July. EMAIL HAS BEEN SENT TO ALL OUR PLAYERS that registered for 2020, please check your emails. Before any competition can go ahead there are quite a few guidelines that must be adhered to. Please read through the email. ... We would like players to let us know if they would be able to commit. Each club will submit player numbers to the association and a decision will be made whether the competition will go ahead. Here are a few of the most important requirements to consider, but It is important to read the whole email before you make your decision. -Only one parent/guardian may be present at each child’s game and must adhere strictly to physical distancing (1.5m) rules and must not congregate in groups of more than 10. -Any individual who is unwell in any way must not attend netball games. -Attendance of all persons who attend netball must be recorded. -Training is to remain as an opt-in part of netball. Whilst I know parents/guardians and families want to be at netball supporting their child, adherence to these measures are an absolute must and both players and parents/guardians have to be aware of these guidelines and willing to adhere to them. Again, please read the full email that has been sent and let us know if you are willing to play the suggested 8 week competition by this Friday 3rd July. Thank you Town Netball Club Committee Carla Bruce, Jemma Cornell and Helen Drury

20.01.2022 Hi Town Netballers, I hope you're all well and safe. Just wanted to give you all an update of where we are at with regards to COVID-19 and netball. Please note that the LDNA courts are not ready to be used yet as they are still incomplete. Thank you again to the LDNA Redevelopment Committee led by Anna Patterson for all their continued work on this project. They are looking great.... Unfortunately with restrictions still in place the LDNA have had to cancel the Under 11s Fun Day which was due to be held on Sunday June 21st. At this stage they cannot confirm if netball will be able to commence by this date. A decision will be made with regards to the LDNA Tournament in July in the coming weeks. LDNA have also cancelled the June monthly meeting. Netball Victoria are due to reassess return to play on the 31st of May and hopefully after this date we will have greater clarity about the 2020 season. Thank you for your understanding.
20.01.2022 Today's update. Stay tuned and we will continue to update you all as quickly as possible. No further fees or registrations will be taken from this point.

13.01.2022 Hi All, I hope you're all well and safe. Just wanted to give you all an update of where we are at with regards to COVID-19 and netball. First, some exciting news. The LDNA courts are well underway and almost finished. A big thank you to the LDNA Committee and Anna Patterson for getting this project underway . An official opening will be planned once restrictions have been lifted.... Netball Victoria held their AGM via Zoom recently where Rosie King addressed the group regarding COVID-19. At this stage there is no date as to when we can commerce the 2020 season. VNA fee refunds were discussed for this year and at this stage individuals must contact Netball Victoria directly and refunds will be issued on a case by case basis. At this stage LDNA cannot make any decisions or plans about our season until we have a clearer idea of when we are likely to recommence. Current restrictions are due to be re-assessed on the 11th of May and they hope by then to have more information about recommencing netball. Stay Safe!
12.01.2022 Try some of these to keep your netball skills and fitness up during this time.

10.01.2022 Hi All, A little video from The Vixens and a Return To Play Update from Netball Vic. At Netball Victoria we are confident that netball will come back from this ...suspension strong. Our confidence is based on the quality of our people our game’s greatest strength. No one knows teamwork more than our sport. On 1 May the National Cabinet met and endorsed the National Principles for Resumption of Sport and Recreation Activities and the Framework for Rebooting Sport in a Covid-19 Environment. This gives us an indication of how our sport might resume. National Cabinet will meet on 10 May to review the current restrictions and we expect to make a statement on 11 May after further announcements from the Victorian Government. We want to take the opportunity to reassure you that Netball Victoria is working through many return to play scenarios and we will be ready to support your Association and Leagues as the restrictions ease. We will be providing Associations and Leagues with return to play options and advice regarding sanitation measures that will be specific to netball. Netball will look a little different when we return. We are confident of a return to play and therefore Netball Victoria is not accepting refund requests for Netball Victoria Membership. We will continue to address hardship requests that is the right thing to do. It’s important to remember that your membership offers many benefits such as sanctioned training at home, growing online content check out the calendar on our website, Sports Perks and much more.

02.01.2022 The LDNA have provided a new link to my netball which includes the saturday competition LDNA fee.. It is set up so that the VNA includes the $60 LDNA fee, so it should come up as $118 for juniors. ($58 VNA and $60 LDNA) or Seniors $138 ($78 VNA and $60 LDNA) If VNA is already paid, it should automatically discount when you login to MyNetball, and you will only be charged for LDNA fees. ... https://netball.resultsvault.com/common/pages//signin.aspx
