19.01.2022 Best Part of our day! A beautiful community member made us a delicious carrot cake & thanked us for our service to the community. We’re coming up to our 9th year practicing in Leonora this June & this year is looking to be by far the most trying. ... The Leonora Community & surrounds have been so good to us over the years but they’ve proven to be greater than ever this year. The pace of life has always been slow in Leonora but the ever calm & laid back approach of the townsfolk during this difficult time has been a true blessing. In face of adversity we’ve put aside our own problems & pulled together to keep each other safe. We’ve a higher calling & it’s humbling to see how many people are selflessly stepping up & taking the right measures to protect our most vulnerable community members. Even though times are tough and our time in the pharmacy is consumed by restocking our shelves & making sure we’ve ordered enough stock, we still appreciate the quick visits & chats. Even the occasional shout through fry screen door to see how we are going doesn’t go unappreciated. Thank you Leonora we love serving the community & there’s no place we’d rather be right now .......well maybe John would like to be in Shanghai watching the soccer but he’s staying home & going to work for the greater good.
