22.01.2022 Amazing turnout for our 2019 Junior Club Championships Great to see so many junior members getting involved and having some fun. Perfect weather for it too. Congratulations to everyone that played. It was so impressive to see matches played in good spirit and fairness, while maintaining focus and attitude.... 20.01.2022 2019 JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS 11am on Sunday the 15th of December. Round Robin format. Grouped into divisions for different standards. All junior members for the 2019 Winter season and the current Summer season are welcome.... $10 for entry, a sausage and a can of drink. Parents and kids can purchase sausage or drinks for $2 each. 19.01.2022 WINTER TENNIS SEASON We are now taking names and entering teams!!! It looks like we'll have a solid group of junior boys that will join the senior ranks this season. Great to see them continuing their tennis on from junior competition. ... Summer season is coming to an end, with finals currently underway. Our Section 13 Boys team have a great shot to get through to the Grand Final. They play Geelong Lawn @ Ocean Grove Tennis Club this Saturday in the Preliminary Final. Good luck boys And, well done too all who competed and represented our club this season. 15.01.2022 The first week of the summer season is a wrap with some pleasing results. Men section 4 lost a close one to Centre Court 2(28) - 4(31). Men section 5 also lost a close one to Lethbridge, 3(26) -3(30). Mixed section 10 started off with a win against Moolap, 3(29) -3(27). Mixed section 9 lost to Wandana Heights 1(9) - 5(33). Keep up the good work. This week sees Men section 4 at home to Highton. Men section 5 at home to Grovedale. Mixed section 10 away to Drysdale. Mixed section 9 with a bye. Good luck to everyone.

All members and family are very welcome to attend.... We will also be putting up signs and our new (kind of new) wind breaks, which have been sitting in storage awaiting a working bee. 09.01.2022 Club Championship Details Venue: Leopold tennis club Time: 10am Date: November 11th... Cost: $10 per person Age: any person to have played juniors in either the 2018 Winter Season or the current 2018/19 Summer Season We will have separate categories for all contestants to cater for ages and standards. It'll be a Round Robin format, so all players will have multiple matches. We will also have a sausage sizzle and can for lunch provided. Doug and Ry will be running the day, but we would love any parent helpers to help score and/or help with BBQ All members are welcome. We'd love to have a full turn out and see everyone involved in competition participate in the day. Looking forward to seeing you all on the day

07.01.2022 Congratulations to all teams that participated in the Winter season. We hope you all had fun and have signed up for the upcoming Summer season. Our Boys Section 4 team ended up having a great win in their Grand Final - 4 sets 28 games to Geelong Lawn's 2 sets 21 games Our Division 10 Midweek Ladies also had a great win in their Grand Final in late June. Winning the deciding set 6-4 after being dead even in the first 6 sets of the match.

06.01.2022 Another week of tennis with fantastic weather. Mixed section 10 have continued on their winning way, defeating Moolap Gold 6(36) - 0(21). Mixed section 9 are not so lucky going down to Eastern Districts 0(4) - 6(36). Over in the Men's, section 5 lost to Highton 0(7) - 6(36). Section 4 had another close one with Surf Coast which is becoming all too familiar, 2(27) - 4(30). Good luck to all teams next week.

05.01.2022 Another week of tennis with some great results. Section 10 mixed continued on their winning way with a win over Inverleigh 4(32) - 2(29). This places them 2nd on the ladder. Section 9 mixed lost to Hamlyn Park 0(13) - 6(36). Section 5 men lost to Sutherlands Creek 1(25) - 5(34). Section 4 men tried hard all day but fell short to Geelong East Uniting 2(26) - 4(33). Section 4 are holding onto 4th place by a whisker. Next week section 4 are home to Surfcoast and section 5 are home to Highton. Mixed section 9 are away to Eastern Districts and section 10 are away to Moolap yellow. Good luck next week and welcome Dion to hopefully his first full game in section 4 to bring home a win and consolidate 4th position.

01.01.2022 This weekend was a bit wet. As a result, section 4 men abandoned play during their first set with Highton. Points will be split. Section 5 men were braver and battled the weather and were a little braver, however lost to Grovedale 0(12) - 6 (37). Mixed section 9 were lucky enough to have a bye. Mixed section 10 had a great win at Drysdale 1(15) - 5(31). Great win team!
