20.01.2022 A story of a recent service we wanted to share... The heart of Dandenong came to a standstill recently when long-time local identity Dave Mickle was given the send-off he always wanted, thanks to a couple of mates and Le Pine Funerals. Mr Mickle was a well-known steam train and tractor engine enthusiast, so when planning his funeral some years ago he had one specific instruction he wanted his mates Rob Jones and Ben Klaster to fire up the boiler on his prized steam truck na...med Ethel and carry him to his final resting place in Dandenong Cemetery. When the time came, the pair worked together with Peter Sharry, Funeral Services Manager at Dandenong Le Pine/White Lady Funerals, to ensure the founding member of the Melbourne Steam Traction Engine Club got his wish. On April 14, Ethel carried Mr Mickle through Dandenong to the cemetery after his memorial service.

17.01.2022 My mum always told me how good a dancer dad was and how he loved dancing with her and I. I remember coming home after school and they would move the coffee table out of the way, roll up the rug and we would dance in our living room. It's little moments like this that become our greatest memories. Find your nearest Le Pine Funeral home today https://www.lepinefunerals.com.au/locations/
