09.01.2022 Candle care is so IMPORTANT Do you know how to stop your candles from tunneling... Did you know candles have memory? The first time you melt your candle you program where the candles melt too. You need to allow the candle to melt for 1-3 hrs ensure the candle melts totally on the top and 1/2cm down so the top of the candle is liquid before putting them out. Take note of the following tips to prevent your candles tunneling and get the most out of your candles:... Use a wick trimmer to cut the wick of your LeReve candles to 6mm prior to burning. Leave it lit for 1-3 hrs on the first light and then 1-3 hr after each future use. Avoid draughty and vents as this can lead to an uneven burn Gently blow out the flame or better still use a Wick dipper to dip the burning wick into the melted wax. Using a Wick trimmer will coat the wick with a layer of protective wax which will prevent smelly smoke and over powering the fragrance. Discontinue use when there is less than 1cm of was left as the candle has reached its life span. See more
