25.01.2022 Today they announced the winner of @theweeklytimes and @harveynorman Shine awards. Although I did not win I am absolutely humbled to be recognised amongst such dedicated and wonderful woman in rural business. It is through all of our loyal customers, family and friends, that we have made it this far and achieved everything that we have. Especially this year when we were devastated by a fire that destroyed our property and hundreds of our sheep. We are ever so grateful for y...our continued support for what we do!! Thank you! Massive congratulations to all of the finalists, especially the winner of the Spirit category (the category i was in) Meg Clothier. Meg and her husband offer free caretaking services to drought affected farmers and are absolutely deserving of this incredible accolade. Helping people recover from bushfires, drought and pandemics was a major theme in so many of these stories, and with the support of The Weekly Times and Harvey Norman these inspiring, dedicated and compassionate rural women who make such a difference in the community, can be spotlighted. 24.01.2022 What a difference 12 months makes.... Yesterday was the anniversary of the devastating Lexton fire that destroyed 95% of our main farm. With just on 1/3 of our fencing replaced so far, there’s still plenty to do, but come the New Year we will be back straight back into it. ... Thank you to everyone who has continued to support us through this heartbreaking experience! We could not have continued without the overwhelming love that surrounds us. Bring on 2021!! 19.01.2022 Hands up who uses their @leroymacdesigns blankets anywhere and everywhere? Although our blankets are made from pure merino wool we love that they are versatile enough that you CAN take them anywhere and basically use them for everything. We have them on the couches, beds, in the car. They make AMAZING cubby houses, are quite often dragged along wooden floorboards (we don’t recommend this... but we’ve done it) and a girlfriend, once even mopped yoghurt off the floor with hers... Fully machine washable in cold water, our blankets can handle the rough and tumble lifestyle of your little people and what ever they choose to use their blankies for. We wish we could have been at the ceremony to celebrate with everyone, but promise we will be there next year. ...
