24.01.2022 "I don't have enough time to " On average we spend 2 hours and 24 minutes per day on social media. That's over 17 hours per week ... What are some of the meaningful changes most of us say we need make but claim we "don't have the time" for? Each of the examples below take LESS TIME than what we spend scrolling on social media every single week: 1 hour of exercise x 5 per week = 5 hours 2 hours updating our CV = 2 hours 3 hours of meal prep on Sundays = 3 hours 30 mins of inner work x 3 per week = 1.5 hours 20 mins of daily meditation = approx. 2.5 hours 1 hour of meaningful conversation at home = 7hrs ..... you can create more of your own! Craig Harper reminds us that every single one of us has 1,440 minutes in every day. We all are GIFTED with the same number of minutes. Curie, Hopper, Tsukamoto all had the same number of minutes we do. And while your life circumstances may need to factor in more stuff, you still have a choice as to how those minutes are spent. Make. A. Choice. Honour. Your. Future-Self

17.01.2022 When committing to action the words we use in our self-talk can energise and elevate us to 100% committed YES! .... or feel like a slowly deflating balloon BLAAAAAH. Let's see an example: "I could try to meet people at the next networking event" ... How powerful does this commitment sound to you How convinced are you that this will result in action Hmm, I'm not too sure. A powerful word switch could be just the thing we need. "I will meet as many people I can at the next networking event" Are we feeling more energised about this statement Are we more confident that this will be actioned Heck Yes How could you use a powerful word switch to supercharge a statement Side Note: As a child of a Star Wars nut, the likelihood of an inspirational quote from this era was always on the cards. This one is for you Dad

12.01.2022 Speaking to a client this week we discussed their goal, their destination. What did they want to achieve? What did success look like to them?... They said "while the destination was important, it was the journey to get there that was most important". What a powerful mindset to have. It gave me goosebumps Here's to the learning, growing and self discovery in the journey!

01.01.2022 I've had a tough run with procrastination these past two weeks. I've pushed, got frustrated and made no progress at all. I even cried about it Why was I procrastinating? I had so much I needed to do!... What was really going on? What was I not noticing? With the help of Claire Kerslake it clicked. Mentally and physically I was going through something major. And I was using my work to push it away, avoid it. So my subconscious created procrastination as an intervention!! "No more work Lesley until you deal with this. Self care first!" So I surrendered to my procrastination. I took a step back and turned my attention inwards. I even exhaled with relief Procrastination is not necessarily a bad thing. Your subconscious may simply be trying to get your attention. And sometimes we need a little help to recognise it. What have you been procrastinating over? How and when has your procrastination shown up? What was your subconscious really trying to tell you?

01.01.2022 ~ What are your potential barriers? ~ I juicy questions like this! This question explores and makes visible everything that could get in the way of our plan to achieve our goals. ... But what could get the way? Our job, our talent, our fitness, our experience in the kitchen, over-thinking, self sabotage, our skills, waning motivation, the school run... and more. Knowing what can get in the way and derail us means we can proactively navigate, negotiate and prepare for it in advance. If it comes up, we get around it without losing momentum or commitment! Woo hoo
