25.01.2022 ......and my little friend is finished and signed. This painting is a watercolour. 300gsm cold pressed watercolour paper 29.5cm X 42cm $120 Unframed... Pick up Semaphore SA area or $10 P&H in Australia I will be having him framed this week but easier to post unframed. Hope you like him!

19.01.2022 Two more pours that I’m happy with. Quite addictive. Tomorrow I must go back to the watercolour I am working on. These pours require NO assistance from naughty pussy cats so Lucy gets locked out. They also take a long time to dry, again difficult with inquisitive/naughty cats!

17.01.2022 More Acrylic Pours before cleaning up and going out. These are really exciting to do. Holding and tilting the canvas! Consistency of the paint! The colours! Endless results! Particularly if your pussy cat wants to assist in the magic that is art!

14.01.2022 It has been such a long time since ‘my mojo’ went walkabout! I am pleased to say it’s back! My PROTEUS in progress. Watch this space as I gradually bring out the deeper colours by adding to the base washes.

14.01.2022 It has taken longer than I thought to have the prints made. I was a little fussy about the colours being reproduced so it was my fault! Anyway they are done and I’m happy. 14.01.2022 Back to my love of simple watercolour painting and, of course, gum leaves. So satisfying to do.

08.01.2022 Happy New Year to all. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that 2019 brings you health and happiness. I am looking forward to producing some satisfying watercolour works and of course a little mixed media. My second wisteria painting is on the board with the first colour washes almost completed. May need to add a few buds for balance but it’s ok so far. Hope this one meets the approval of the friend who commissioned it! Stay tuned.

08.01.2022 One of the flamingoes framed and sold. Watercolours always look better with matt or double matt. Using a colour for the second matt always adds something to the framework. Here I’ve used a blue matt to pick up the blue in the water. It frames the top half of the painting being mainly the natural white of the paper. Very happy with the result as I hope the new owner will be when I deliver it on Monday.

05.01.2022 The first Acrylic Pour I’ve been happy with. Found the very expensive pouring medium was too runny. Instead used PVA and water 1:1 as seen on YouTube and it worked a treat. Mind you now I want to do more and I’ve run out of PVA. Shopping time
