24.01.2022 Thanks to Gina for showing us how brilliantly our A-Grade Woodchip worked in her vegetable garden area! We have plenty of bark and mulch options for these jobs at both yards (and don't forget sawdust is on special currently for $20pm3) :) Open from 8am till 5pm Mon to Fri & 8am till 4pm Saturdays.... Closed Sundays.

17.01.2022 Spring weather is so motivating. The wind has arrived yes, but the sun is also hanging around longer each day. We've (mostly) traded scarves and heavy jumpers for t-shirts and sunscreen and everything just feels....nicer... doesn't it? Gardens are getting a freshen up and people are spending more time in them.... Here's a pic of what one of our customers has recently done with some Medium Fine Pine Bark, Tassie Gold and Bluemetal. It's amazing how quickly an area can go from 'Meh' to 'Oooh' with just a few uteloads and a little hard work isn't it :) We have these products at both yards. Open 8am till 5pm Monday to Friday and 8am till 4pm Saturdays. ***if you're a landscaper or just a little proud of your own home project we'd love you to shoot us your photos for page feature too! You might just inspire someone else to get their hands in the dirt ****

14.01.2022 We can't help it...we develop a fondness for many of you over the seasons that you come in. We've learnt that people that garden are often open, warm and generous people. We have gotten to know so many of you well enough that at times we feel like a friend is visiting when we see you drive in, I love that.. Tonight I got a message to let me know one of my very favourite elderly gentlemen had passed away peacefully this morning. He came in just the other week being chauffeur ...driven, stubbornly pushing through despite being at palliative stage and like every other time he came we talked about his garden, my kids, his kids and wife. He shone talking about his family who had all come to be around him and grinned when I (as usual) gave him a razz about his stubbornness. If we all could realise the impact we have on others, the power of simple conversation and every day interactions... I think we might stop rushing through them in our haste to do the next thing and we might be suprised how we can make such a difference by really seeing each other during all the small opportunities we have each day...and I think we would maybe feel a little more connected (in the real world), and more 'community like'. I'm going to miss my old friend, his warm smile and the things I was learning from him - like how to store pumpkins he gifted me and.. even if you know death is coming... it's no excuse not to plant the potatoes. 08.01.2022 Twice in a week we get to talk up Our Dad - Fathers Day...and today.. HIS BIRTHDAY (he was born today an undisclosed amount of years ago) Our father is someone we've always looked up to...no matter how tall we grew.... He was the first superhero we ever met and we still think there isn't much worth doing, that he couldn't do. We hope his grandchildren grow to be adults with even have half the spunk, tenacity, determination and smarts of their old Poppy. Happy birthday Dad, We all love you deeply

Or not ever for sale again? Me: *rolls up sleeve* I'll tell you in a minute. (Fat sand is still for sale. No one was home *phew* and Fluffy butt rabbits work in progress has been deconstructed.)

If you've been ogling the Tassie Gold but are still not sold why not head on down to Elsewhere Vineyard on the weekend and see how beautiful it looks down while having a glass of wine and supporting a little local at the same time. These guys won the Best Small Cellar Award for 2020 and are open 10am to 6pm Friday’s to Sunday’s.
