25.01.2022 Ever been stuck and needed help? I have! Once I got my car bogged in my own driveway. I needed physical help and I needed help with my perspective! Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. ... Check out what Karen has to say and if you'd like to hear a recent message about friendships follow this link: https://youtu.be/SLFz5vL1YZc

24.01.2022 Last Sunday we had Steve McKinnon from Prison Fellowship Australia share with us. You can listen to his message from our podcast page here: https://www.lesmurdiechurch.com.au/podcasts.html or you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/gnCwTkoLYUw

24.01.2022 Sunday morning we are joined by Nick and Amy from Australind Baptist Church. 23.01.2022 A recent survey says that 67% of Aussies are heading towards Christmas 2020 feeling low on hope and actively worried about the future. Many report having lost their joy; 40% of Aussies are saying that have suffered mental health issues this year that will have a long term negative impact on them and peace is hard to find. We think there is hope though and that hope has to do with a baby! Join us in person this Sunday or online at 9.30am, 11am or 5pm lbc.online.church

23.01.2022 Shout out to Uny and Ricardo and the team at King and Spoon at Sanderson Road for gorgeous food cooked and served with friendly smiles!

22.01.2022 What comes to your mind when you hear the word Grace? It’s a small enough word and it makes a pretty name, but when it comes to matters of faith the concept of Grace can be difficult to nail down! We think it’s got something to do with freedom from what holds us down and the liberty to step up to what is good. Join us this Sunday 30th August in person at 9.30am or online at 9.30am, 11am or 5pm at lbc.online.church to be part of the conversation.

19.01.2022 !IMPORTANT! This week is a tough topic as Josh explores our mortality. The sermon will feature mature content that may be unsuitable for younger listeners. Also, this topic may be difficult for some to hear right now and we want to say that if you do not want to participate this week that is fine. We would encourage you, if you are anxious by nature or struggling with your mental health around the topic of death; do not view by yourself. Watch with a safe person or do not watch if you feel unsure.

18.01.2022 If we are made for relationships then it makes sense that even the most fleeting relational moments can make a difference in good ways.

18.01.2022 Beyond Four Walls Edited by Michael O'Neil and Peter Elliott. The contributors to this book believe that the church remains an integral part of God's redemptive purposes being worked out in the world, and that God's call to the church is now what it has always been: to be the faithful people of God, bearing joy-filled witness to the resurrection of Jesus Christ in word, worship and work. 13.01.2022 The Psalms in the bible include many prayers of lament but one of them (Psalm 88) stands out because it ends without the characteristic return to hope. It’s an ...uncomfortable prayer for some, others of us will read it and say At last! Someone is praying my prayer! That’s just how I felt when... Join us in person or online Sunday morning as we ask what’s the point of this sort of prayer? See more
