22.01.2022 Gday guys!! Hope everyone is safe and well!! While social distancing has been a priority, unfortunately social media has not been.. oops. He have been keeping busy through these extraordinary times, here’s a few pics of a few jobs we’ve completed recently- Mulgrave sugar mill cable tray brackets, 30 air conditioning cages fitted to Yarrabah, mission beach house stumps and beams, 4WD rear carry rack with spare tyre holders and some rod holders and climb rail.. Having said that, we are definitely still open for buisness, so feel free to give us a call!

22.01.2022 Building dreams, in all shapes and sizes! These 2 were particularly interesting with both requiring some delicate and precise manoeuvring of the boom lift to get to those hard to reach joins!

22.01.2022 Here’s a few pics of the additional work to the tourer canopy we completed a little while back. Tinny cradle and slider, rear ladder and jerry can holder, out board cradle, some tie down points, under tray storage box, internal storage And a few other bits and pieces! These guys are now onto their adventure!

18.01.2022 Design the puzzle, build the masterpiece! This customer threw a new one at us last month. I want to be able to roll this camping pontoon of the back of my truck, down the bank or boat ramp and into the water I think my response was You’re going to have to leave this with me A few weeks later and he’s on his way to the boat ramp!

16.01.2022 Well it’s that time of year again and What a hectic year it has been! A massive shout out to Cole Pitt for putting up with my bright and cheerful self. As well as stepping up to the plate on many occasions this year, there were some testing jobs that you breezed through, well done mate!! Of course a massive thank you to all our regular, repeat and new customers this year, you keep food on our family’s table!! Thank you! Friday 20th will be our last day of work for the year, w...e will be back burning on Jan 6th. We hope you all have a safe and enjoyable Christmas break, and look forward to seeing you in the new year! Last post for the year is a few photos of some screw piling we did a little while back, these lengths get welded together then drilled into the ground under the equivalent of 97 tonnes of torque!!! A pretty good weld test! There’s also a couple of pics of the new work horse! Sign writing with be in in the new year, give us a wave!

16.01.2022 Heavy gauge steel roller one minute, light gauge aluminium transom the next! Seized bearings in a fully welded trench roller made extraction and repair and interesting operation. Also a tinny that the fell off the back of a trailer that damaged the transom beyond repair. The only method left was full replacement. Both jobs completed and delivered to happy customers within a couple of days!

15.01.2022 ANYTIME ANYWHERE! This happens to be palm cove jetty at 2am..! With the work area only accessible with a low tide of below 0.8 metres as well as needing the swell and wind in our favour, the Windows of opportunity were limited.. After 2 attempts during the day and another in the late evening we were forced to abandon due to the weather not playing its part. So we were left to roll the dice at a 2:30am-4:30am window. Here’s Cole getting getting his stint done! There’s also a quick video in comments !

14.01.2022 If you’re looking for me, You’ll find us on the jobs that no one else wants to do! Spent a few hours in some super tight positions this body certainly wasn’t designed for, replacing some keel cooling pipes. Shouldn’t have had the big breaky this morning!

13.01.2022 Finally organised the sign writing for the work horse! What do you think? Effective ? Also a few pics of recent jobs- new aluminium bin upgrade for our mate Darren at Northern Lawn Care, a few update photos from the Mulgrave mill electrical wiring trays, some photos send in from mates at Douglas Partners, very happily getting use out of their drilling platform we made 12 months ago. As well as some nice new beams for a house extension in Bayview heights!

13.01.2022 A bit of a late start in the social media department this year, but certainly not for us in the workshop!! This beauty would be our largest aluminium canopy made to date. It has gone back to the owner to trial fit a few items then will be back for a few little extra bits and pieces!! More photos to come!!

13.01.2022 It’s been a busy couple of weeks with a mixed bag of jobs as usual. Cole Pitt whipped together this handy Stump puller and set about replacing a few footings and posts. While I took care of relining an aluminium tipper bed, some beams and cleats and a little Hiab control box cover.

07.01.2022 Alloy has definitely been the flavour of the month!! Fuel tank inspection hatches, 2x large tool Boxes with built in 60l fuel/water tanks, damaged bulk head section replacement, (tight access of course), targa top/ rocket launcher for recreation fishing boat and large stabiliser arms for live trout vessel. All this while fighting the wet weather to get our new workshop underway! Exciting times ahead!!

02.01.2022 Another year, another refit full of surprises from our great friends at Stella Rane. Always a pleasure to work for and with this crew. Varied work as usual including- Little bit of preventative maintenance on the hull, new alloy life jacket tray including fold down fish box storage, fold down work bench, exhaust repairs, stabiliser reinforcements And much more. Safe travels guys! Bring em back in bulk!
