10.01.2022 I can’t help but feel bad for P & O Cruises, Carnival and all the different cruise ships right now. Australia loves cruising and at the moment we are stocking ...them up with goods and pushing them out. The other day Pacific Explorer was ordered to leave Sydney Harbour - we were at her christening in Sydney in 2017 ,and we’ve had a (hosted) beautiful cruise on her and love seeing her in port. This photo is from a beautiful (hosted) Carnival Legend cruise (pictured here). Explorer and all the other cruise ships moored off shore didn’t want to leave so that they would be near medical help for all those crew now stranded on board. That makes sense to me. Not for one moment am I suggesting we invite everyone ashore. We all know what a disaster that can create - but it just feels so disloyal to all these cruise staff and their companies who have given us so much joy over the years to then say, times are tough - you need to leave. Good luck to you all on your way to hopefully a nearby safe port of welcome Carnival Cruise Line Australia P&O Cruises Australia Royal Caribbean Cruises Australia Princess Cruises See more
