13.01.2022 Delicious minestrone.....just perfect for this weeks winter weather! This is my family recipe that Id love to share with you: Dice 1 brown onion and crush or slice 1 clove garlic Saut for 5-10 mins until transparent in 4-5 tablespoons olive oil Add 3 chopped carrots... Let cook for 5 mins Add 3 stalks chopped celery Let cook for another 5 mins Add handful flat beans chopped 1 tin borlotti bean (drained and rinsed) 1 tin Siena diced tomatoes 6-8 rashers shortcut bacon chopped Let cook for a further 5 mins, then add water to cover vegetables, simmer. I add some powdered vegeta gourmet stock, salt and pepper to taste. Towards end of cooking add 3 chopped potatoes, let cook for 10 mins Cook till all vegetables are tender. At the end add couple handfuls of baby spinach till wilted. Serve with fresh crusty Bakers Delight Southgate Square bread and there you have a hearty winter meal. Enjoy See more

08.01.2022 Just wanted to share this yummy recipe with our fellow facebookers, that one of my friends made and shared with us. Let me tell you, I made it tonight and it was absolutely delicious! In a zip lock bag add 1 cauliflower (broken into florets) with 3-4 Tbs olive oil. Coat well then add 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1/3 cup Parmesan, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp garlic powder , 1/2 tsp paprika. Shake really well and place on a lined tray. Bake 180 for about 30 mins. Stir the cauliflower after 20 mins.
