20.01.2022 CHANGE OF VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT!! Today LEVEL UP announces a new location for LEVEL UP Bachata & Kizomba Festival 2020 happening on the 24th - 27th September 2020. It was initially scheduled to be held at Hamilton Hotel. We have now arranged the festival to be held at the BTP Conference and Exhibition Centre! Why the change? ... We decided to tell you all about the positive and exciting parts of our new location rather than go into the longer fuller details, because we believe this is a strong move for the festival. It's an amazing venue, it's massive, we can party til 3am every night (4am Saturday Night), it's got 5m high ceilings for shows, its got more space for you to enjoy and have a better experience during workshops and parties. It's located next to Queensland's biggest shopping centres - Westfield Garden City. Its next to our Partnered hotel - Quest Hotel (Apartment style hotel) and Best Western, so that we can all stay together. It has easy access from the M3 highway which is only 15mins from City and 19mins from the Airport. Changing venues has been a hard decision but as preparations went underway, increasing restrictions and restraints made it clear we just couldn't create the festival experience that we wanted and which you deserve. We've worked so hard to build this over the past year, but more importantly to you, because you put trust in us to create a memorable weekend for everyone to go wild we want to ensure this festival lives up to our crazy reputation! We will deliver the same incredible event with the added benefits mentioned above. the BTP Conference and Convention Centre is the best venue we could find without compromising on all we wanted to achieve. If we didn’t think this would be a step forward for all our festival goers then we wouldn’t have made this change. It's with great sadness, we have had to cancel like many events around the world. Even though restrictions might loosen up, we wouldn't be able to fly our internationals here and with so much uncertainty we don't want to do an event HALF DONE! We want you to have the full experience and enjoy this event with out any worries! ...
