08.01.2022 Congratulations to the Leverdale Stud on its success in the Prime Cattle section of the Tully and Cairns shows. Champion Bullock at the Tully Show was a Leverda...le, 2 tooth Droughtmaster steer, weighing 592kg and selling for $1920. Paul Lever also exhibited the first place winners in the pen of 6 tooth steers and pen of 4 tooth steers which then became the Reserve Champion pen of steers. To top off a great day, the blue ribbon for the heavyweight cow was awarded to a 682kg Leverdale cow as well. This wonderful display of Droughtmasters followed on from the Cairns show where a 618kg , 2 tooth Leverdale steer was awarded the Champion Bullock of the Show. A great effort from the Lever family of Tully.
