Feeling the guilt of the ties between caring for you and your family ? The guilt of giving up your needs for theirs? Seeing other parents do it all and wonder how? Well ... let us say 1 thing. No one persons life is the same as the next. No persons priorities or values in life are the same as the next .... and they way t...o choice to make decisions, how we attend to the habits, behaviours and voices in our minds depend on what is truly important you - as an individual - as a person; before you are a mum, a wife and a daughter. Receiving this today was heart warming... seeing Nikki walk in at the start of her journey, feeling tired, fed up and needing herself back - to seeing her now; energised, looking healthier, improving in her fitness outputs, juggling a new business after work not exactly going to plan -(thank you covid)... too now keeping ontop of what is important to her, what drives her to become the next best version of her! Is .... beyond inspiring. Mum of 7 kids, juggling the ‘balance’ of life and turning up, seeking support, education and advise, applying changes and each day improving herself to the version of her she wants to become! Change doesn’t happen by thinking, wishing or being envious of others. Tune into you! And see where it leads you.. Thank you Nikki for sharing this and being their for yourself!

Even though she is the primary carer for her unwell husband and other family members she is truly honouring what is important to her and making sure that she manages her time well to get to sessions and care for her! No excuses at all. Even after her hubby having surgery last Friday, she was able to set some time a...side to get to our Monday arvo strength session and absolutely gave it her all. We are so proud of you! Keep up the great work and those goals will be a true reflection of these behaviours and new found self love you have for yourself! We may have curve balls thrown our way, and some bigger than others - focus on keeping true to what matters for you! When your not caring for yourself you will slowly begin to struggle to support and look after others before it begins to take a further toll@on your own health and well-being!
