Did you know that the French love Pinot Grigio too, but only when they make it in a different style, and then call it Pinot Gris.. Did you know that Pinot Gris is a gorgeous mutation of Pinot Noir (which means 'black pine') but the Gris/Grigio means 'grey' from the grape's colour, even though its skin can ripen into beautiful pink and pale blue colours, while still being... classified as a white grape? Here I am with the wonderful Valma who has been volunteering for 45 years.
