24.01.2022 Smith’s Crisps. Original flavour. So good in so many ways, and memorable...Straight out of the packet with a bottle of double sarsaparilla after a game of football or tennis on a Saturday morning. Or load up a ham and mustard sandwich with a handfull of these babies for lunch. One for your recipe book.

23.01.2022 This is Colleen - my boss from a previous life who dropped in to say hi. We had a great day and we had a fantastic time as a team doing lots of good things around the region. Loving seeing you all at @butterfactoryartscentre

23.01.2022 Here is the Live stream if you’d like to take a look at my exhibition A Day in a Life currently exhibited at Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre until the 4th August

23.01.2022 Progressing this ritualistic scene of the pleasures of leisure, red wine, cheese and a smoking pipe, one day at a time.

22.01.2022 ‘The Letter has finally found its new home and Bruce is ecstatic with the new addition to his surrounds. A most generous man in that he allowed me to have it included in my recent exhibition ‘A Day In A Life’. It’s a good time to reflect on this little journey and pay my heartfelt respect to those talented and generous people who helped me create this painting. The photo of the room which was the initial trigger for my narrative came from @dixiegypsy the model is @finalgirlemroe and her photographer is @scottpattphoto . Letter holder extraordinaire was @mozziebee55 and my finished art photographer and printmaker is @buyartnow.com.au That’s how it rolls some times in order to get the image out of my head and onto the canvas. My sincere thanks to all my generous and creative friends.

22.01.2022 When in Lexington Kentucky do visit Cross Gate Gallery and have a look at Portrait of American Pharoah hanging proudly at the top of the stairs in this beautiful building. American Pharoah is a Triple Crown winner and has an Australian connection through the Coolmore Stud. He even paid us a visit last year and stood at stud.

21.01.2022 Me and the girls .. If you happen to share any photos from my exhibition I'd love to see them. Tag me so I can show my appreciation. The Exhibition continues at the @butterfactoryartscentre Photo by my good friend @scottpattphoto

21.01.2022 New Orleans Night Cap is currently hanging in my exhibition if you want to look up close ... in the meantime check out how cool it would look in a living room.

20.01.2022 Another day at ‘A Day In A Life’ here at the World Famous Butter Factory Arts Centre in Cooroy, Queensland, Australia.

19.01.2022 All the details for my exhibition - and a lovely detail shot of She Stole Erwins Jacket ...

18.01.2022 Wimmer’s Double Sarsaparilla is off to the Deep South where they tend not to drink Sars’. Originally brought to Australia by father and son Alfred and Frank Wimmer in 1887, the Sarsaparilla root was the basis of their secret recipe drink which they made in their soft drink factory in Cooroy. The Wimmer’s business is still alive and well today. Indeed the Wimmer company was the first in Australia to mix lemon lime and bitters in a drink. I dug up this antique bottle on our farm years ago when I was digging fence post holes and just recently cleaned it all up and created this little portrait. I hope you enjoy it as much as i enjoy a Wimmer’s Double Sars’ on a hot afternoon sitting on the verandah catching a little South Easterly breeze. @wimmerssoftdrinks

17.01.2022 SUTTER he has been a favourite at the exhibition so far, however the one on everyones lip seems to be "She Stole Erwin's Jacket..." Which I hope means only good things in the upcoming Du Rietz Art Prize where she has been selected as a finalist.

17.01.2022 One of the most popular paintings in my exhibition. It seems everyone has a memorable story about P. K. Some funny and some very touching. It has gone to a great home.

12.01.2022 WE’VE CLOSED THE OPENING !!! After some long discussions with Gallery Director Alicia and Senior Executive Vice Director Julie , their amazing staff and all the other exhibiting artists we have made the decision to cancel the Official Opening at the Butter Factory Arts Centre that was planned for the 1st August. Due to ongoing restrictions in place it is simply not a realistic option to have a successful function. Anyone who would like to catch the exhibition of GOMA, incre...dible ceramics and sculpture, and my drawings and paintings you have until the 4 th August. We would all love to see you here in this amazing gallery space of course. Lew. See more

11.01.2022 Another week dusted on my exhibition at the @butterfactoryartscentre I swear I’m happier on the inside. Truly though hearing your thoughts and feedback has been phenomenal. Thank you

10.01.2022 The last day is here and good people are pouring in this morning. It is a little overwhelming actually. One of my all time favourites and a piece from my Erebus Suite, ‘Stranger In My Old Home Town’ has just left us. He won’t be a stranger in his new home because the buyer has bought from that series before. It’s truly an honour to have that level interest.

04.01.2022 Whoever made Fathers Day (Australia) the same weekend as my birthday knew how to make a party. In reflection, Father’s Day is actually all about family and children. It’s a time for fathers to see and to soak up the whole overwhelming picture right before their eyes. Love to all. Stay safe.
