17.01.2022 SNEAK PEAK Not long now until Yilays Inaugural Website is up and running, another sneak peak at the brother boy Sandon Gibbs-Oneill Burruguu Art painting Yilay...s branding artwork "Infusion of Family - Community - Worklife". Sandon did some remarkable work to capture our story, utilising a great array of coastal colours, representing where our mobs are located (Coastal People). Story Artwork - Automatically you are drawn to the vocal point at the bottom of the painting, this vocal point represents Managing Directors Jesses Family. The two taller silhouettes, Jesse (Butchulla/Woppaburra/Gunditjmara man) and his partner (Bundjalung/Gumbaynggirr woman) with their eldest son between them and twin daughters either side. The five pathways leading away from this meeting point, represent the five pathways each individual family member will lead into the broader community. As these family members make connections in their professional lives, they split to represent the partnerships established and forged. This also represents how these meaningful relationships can branch out into the broader community through mutual respect, understanding and connection. The black/blank spaces between pathways, represent the work still required in Closing the Gap between the Indigenous and Non-Indigenous community in all aspects of professional and personal life, something Yilay Group is continuing to wholeheartedly strive towards.
