11.01.2022 Not long until the Southern Cross University Bachelor of Art and Design student's Grad Show (Not Grad Show) Please come along to the opening night on Friday 20th November from 5pm for nibbles and refreshments. Held at Elevator ARI, Lismore, it will run from Friday 20th November until Friday 27th November. Showcasing artists include: Sophia L Franks, Gala Jane, Damien McMinn, Fabian Pertzel, Bridy Jean Walker, Kairan Ward, Eli Waters and Mia Zapata.... Grad Show (Not Grad Show) is an exhibition showcasing select works from graduating Bachelor of Art and Design students at Southern Cross University. With each artist showcasing their most instrumental works from their projects, they are giving the community a glimpse at what they have spent their final year focusing on. With restrictions throughout the year on accessing materials and facilities, these artists have all had to significantly adapt their practice to complete their studies. These changes and struggles are evident throughout this exhibition. Grad Show (Not Grad Show) has immense diversity with figurative painting, sculpture, portraiture, abstraction, bio-materials, collage and much more.
